I went to import my dragon age awakening grey warden, a survivor of the first game and a warden commander after. And since awakening doesnt have a save at the end when you beat it i have to import from my save before the brood mother. So when i try to import into DA2 says the game is incomplete and that dragon age will fill in the gaps. Does that mean it wont count my dragon age origins or awakening stuff? My dragon age awakening import is not complete?
I didn't have that issue with mine, but there is a really great tool that allows you to 'create' a saved game from DAO/A and import it.
Go to http://social.bioware.com If you have an account, just log in and head to the forums. Under the projects tab in your profile, search for "Gibbed"
The Gibbed saved game editor/creator allows you to set all the imported variables from DAO and Awakenings, such as who is king, if you recruited certain companions and what happened to Mother, the Architect, Ameranthine and Vigil's Keep
EDIT: I did want to add, that though I started with an imported character that had gone through DAO and DAO:A completely, after using a saved game generated through the Gibbed editor, and (I swear!) setting the exact same choices that were in my DAO/A playthrough, I got a couple of different dialog responses from characters in my second play through acknowledging the Hero of Ferelden, Alistair or both.

What is the name of this Dragon Age fanfiction?
I was just talking with my friend and I remembered this particular Dragon Age fanfiction. It is about the character Alistair, but it is very different from any other fanfiction I've read. It was about Alistair being in love, not with the grey warden, but with the girl playing the game! It wasn't very long, but it was just so well written, please help me find it again! :)What is the name of this Dragon Age fanfiction?
I believe that is uh... Dragon Age: Origins...
Good luck!

Should I buy Mass Effect for 20 dollars or Dragon Age new?
I'm not as worried about the price, but it sounds to me like Mass Effect might be the better game, even though it's two years old. Everything I've read says Dragon Age's graphics look pretty dated anyway, so it doesn't sound like much of a technical evolution over Mass Effect. Add in the fact that Mass Effect characters can be continued in the imminent sequel and I am leaning towards buying the cheaper game. Any thoughts? Can anyone convince why Dragon Age might be the better play?Should I buy Mass Effect for 20 dollars or Dragon Age new?
Get Mass Effect. I normally never would have bought a shooter-rpg, an a whim decided to anyway, and it is one of the best games i've ever played. You'll finish it in a week. It's not that short, but you won't be able to pull yourself away from the screen. Seriously. And if you end up enjoying it as much as most people, the second one comes out on Feb 2! Plus, you can always get DA when it becomes cheaper in a few months and after you beat Mass Effect.
Mass Effect is a wonderful game, if your into RPG's, but it certainly depends on the time you have on your hands... Mass Effect is time consuming and addicting :)Should I buy Mass Effect for 20 dollars or Dragon Age new?
mass effect and dragon age are basically the exact same game but one is set in space and one is set in medieval times
i do think mass effect has slightly better graphic though but nothing to write home about
i like dragon age alot more;however, because i like alot of the mage spells and skills
perhaps i chose the "wrong" character class in mass effect (half engineer, half psychic powers, or whatever its called) and my person sucks, so weak..they cant kill anything, the aiming is terrible, i dont like the combat one bit in mass effect and although its a RPG at its core is still a "shooter" and the shooting mechanics suck, just my opnion though
be prepared, both games are like 90% listening to boring dialogue and asking boring questions, watching boring cutscreens..also, most of the "action"/missions are running errands for people and stuff, boring
the main reason i will play dragon age a little longer is that i JUST got my dog and i love him alot
dragon age has better graphics imo and its a better game.Should I buy Mass Effect for 20 dollars or Dragon Age new?
They are both teriffic games. Mass effect is at heart a mesh of a RPG and a squad based shooter. Not a terribly tactical shooter, but you do run around shooting things with 2 sidekicks.
Dragon Age is more of a classic RPG in the vein of Baldurs gate or Neverwinter nights. Actually the interface is a LOT like Neverwinter Nights.
So pick your poison.
Both have decent plots, character interaction, and are up to the quality standards of Bioware (Which with a few exceptions have always been pretty damn high.) Production values are about the same. Sysytem requirements are the same (As these games need to be playable on an Xbox 360)
Of the two? I'd go Mass effect. First it is slightly cheaper, and second it has "Don't panic" in large friendly letters on the cover. Actually it doesn't, but Mass effect has IMHO much more memorable characters, and as you said the sequal is about to be released,

Do you have to play dragon age 1 before 2?
Is it necessary to complete dragon age 1 and understand its plot in order to fully enhance the experience of the sequel dragon age 2 (when it comes out of course) ?Do you have to play dragon age 1 before 2?
if i remember correctly, it comes out in 8th march.
and no, there is no real continuity, so i say you may play in whatever order you want.
for example, if you import your character from DA to DA2, it only means that some decisions that you made in the game will apply (who is the king of the dwarves %26amp; humans and so on) but in DA2 you'll play a human character called Hawke and not the one you had in DA
Not required. They give you a lot of the background in DA2, and if you have not played DAO (or the Awakenings add-on), DA2 will make some default assumptions about how the Blight ended, the Dalish, Denerim's Alienage, the Circle of Magi, Ameranthine, and who is now King/Queen of Ferelden or King of the Dwarves.
None of these is directly critical to the story in DA2, not even in the case of Anders and Justice who become Wardens in Awakenings, and are severely changed by the events that follow the end of the Blight.
But Dragon Age Origins is awesome in it's own right, and therefore a good game to play anyway.Do you have to play dragon age 1 before 2?
Bioware took the approach that both games are self contained stories set in the same universe. As oppsed to ME where each game continues the story of the first. DA2 will give you the background information you need if you haven't played the first. They intentionally made it so you don't have to play the first. Basically, if you play the first you can import a save to have some of your actions mentioned in DA2. But since you play a different charactor and team, it won't have a direct impact on the story.
Dragon Age 2 starts during the timeline of the first game. It starts somewhere in the beginning of the first game and ends ten years after that. From the demo I got the impression that all relevant events from the first game are narrated by the character Varric. The majority of Dragon Age II takes place in a different country and the story is for the most part unrelated.Do you have to play dragon age 1 before 2?
You probably will be fine - it looks very self-contained to me...

Will there be a sequel or second game after Dragon Age Origins?
My mom got Dragon Age Origins (PS3) for Xmas, and I decided to play it, and I absolutely love it. The game is a bit short though, but still. Probably one of the best games I've played, in my opinion, in a while. I just recently finished the game and was wondering if there is going to be a sequel to it. I'd absolutely die if there is :DWill there be a sequel or second game after Dragon Age Origins?
Yes there is Awakening.
Here's the link http://dragonage.bioware.com/awakening
It's a sequel to the first part after you slay the Arch-Demon.
Don't want to spoil anything from the trailer, great veiwing
It's going to cost $40 USD as far as I know and about 8GB so it should be full of content.
There are other expansions to "The Wardens Keep" and "The Stone Prisoner"
It will be downloadable and sold separate in stores.
Great trailer Enjoy I know I will. Will there be a sequel or second game after Dragon Age Origins?
the producers currently cannot talk about if they are *cough* or aren't gonna make a dragon age 2. and i mean a whole new game not the awakening expansion

How do I defeat the dragon in Dragon Age Orgins?
I am trying to defeat the dragon that is guarding the Sacred Urn of Ashes...Does anyone know how to do it? Any tips? How do I defeat the dragon in Dragon Age Orgins?
the high dragon is pretty hard. if you dont have a healer and a lot of health pots then your screwed it does massive damage even to a decked out tank. healing salves for some reason have different cool downs, so put lesser, regular, greater all on your toolbar and pop them every time anyone is under 75% health. you will end up eating like maybe 20 or so but you will get the dragon done. also a mage can cast cone of cold. this will freeze the dragon, it can also get someone out if you the dragon picks you up and munches on you.
You don't need to defeat it - you can just walk right past it to get to the URN.
If you do want to defeat it, make sure you have Cone of Cold. Then freeze it, and let alistair and everyone else wail on it. When it unfreezes, do it again. How do I defeat the dragon in Dragon Age Orgins?

What game should I buy Red Dead or Dragon Age?
If you say Dragon age tell me which one because I haven't played any of them. I want to play the one where they tell you everything. You know like what's what. Thanks!!!What game should I buy Red Dead or Dragon Age?
Dragon Age is a fantasy RPG, and contains a codex which explains everything in the game, similar to Mass Effect's. Red Dead is a third-person shooter/sandbox game similar to the GTA series.
It depends on what you enjoy playing.
Red Dead Redemption definitely the game play and graphics are amazing whether its standard definition or high definition it is definitely worth the buy. plus the amount of features in the game make it a good quality long lasting game. whether its hunting and skinning bears, deer or beavers to holding up and stealing money from a bank it is jam packed with plenty of features to keep you entertained before and after you've completed the game. You can also choose a selection of horses to ride and call your trusty steed. The Multi players not that bad either. What game should I buy Red Dead or Dragon Age?
I do recommend Red Dead Redemption. The first thing you'll notice is the beautiful visuals. Everything has an incredible amount of detail and draw distance, and the character models animate wonderfully. Watching the sunset on horseback is a truly visceral video game experience, and won't soon be forgotten. Combat works in a very fun, gritty way. You have a large variety of period weapons to deal the bad guys (or good guys).
PROS
+ Awesome, deep combat
+ Breathtaking visuals
+ Addictive multiplayer
+ Strong voice acting and writing
+ Best open world in a video game to date
Cons
- Occasional animation glitches
- Some network problems, especially in Free Roam
- Could be a little more difficult
i

Anyone willing to trade Microsoft Points for Dragon Age 2 Isaac Clark Suit?
I bought Dead Space 2 for my 360 and have one of those codes that Dragon Age 2 owners are looking for. I'm willing to trade if for a Microsoft Points code if anyone is willing to. I don't want the code to go to waste since I see people are paying anywhere from $20 or more for the code on eBay. If no one wants to trade codes, I may just give it to someone at random for free before the code expires. Please let me know if you'd be willing to trade. What happen in dragon age 2 if you killed leliana in sacred ashed quest in dragon age origins?
So in one of my play throughs i killed leliana in the sacred ashes quest but i didnt finish that playthrough when i imported it to dragon age 2(so maybe she didnt actually die), and i still saw her at the end of da2.What happen in dragon age 2 if you killed leliana in sacred ashed quest in dragon age origins?
She comes back anyway. Some of the deaths were ignored for the sake of the story. For example if you got Anders killed in Awakening he still appears in DA2.

Why can't Alistair marry a different race, from Dragon Age?
So I've discovered that in the end of Dragon Age, Alistair becomes king, and can have a queen, ONLY if you are a human noble. But if you choose the right settings, the female warden can still have the relationship with Alistair... So my question is, if Alistair will persue a relationship with a city elf, Why won't he marry her? ArgghhhhhWhy can't Alistair marry a different race, from Dragon Age?
He will not marry her mostly because how the game runs is that the elf's are compared to as how african americans were treated down in the states during the time when slavery was permitted. They do not believe the elves to be anything more than slaves as suck humans will see the elf wardens to be a disgrace to the order. So being how badly they are treated no matter how much he was in love with a elf warden he cannot marry her because of how badly an outrage it would cause between the human nobles due to the fact that they want to keep the elf's as peasants and keep all higher occupatients for humans. If a elf were to become queen the humans would most likely fear that the elfs would start to try to get the queen to entitle them to become higher class than they are now.

i want to complete dragon age origins because i know dragon age awakening is coming out but i'm in the middle of modern warfare 2 and i'm 1st prestige 34 and if i stop my friends will get ahead of me i want to play a sword and board character playing with alistair oghren and morrigon how long any tips or builds? How long will it take me to complete dragon age origins?
It's fast if you don't take the time to really enjoy the game and finish sidequests which is one of the main reasons I enjoy that game but if you want to finish it that badly don't need to do any and follow the main quest line. You can finish it in probably 25 hours or less. I take my time with exploring. I'm almost done and have played for around 4 hrs!:))How long will it take me to complete dragon age origins?
if you play straight for the main story 10 to 12 hours... of gameplay... if you do all of the side quests a week or soHow long will it take me to complete dragon age origins?

How to romance Leliana in Dragon Age Origins?
I am trying to get all of the romance achievements in Dragon Age and I am missing Leliana. I do not have options to "start" a relationship. I only have the whole "traveling minstrel story" option now. I've gone through and talked to her about those other dialogs, about her being in the Chantry and such. I don't have any idea of how to do this one. I have her approval up to 100% and everything. What the heck do I do?!How to romance Leliana in Dragon Age Origins?
once you have done her side quest you need to keep going back and forth to the camp site ( which is a pain) and just talk to her, even if its the same topics.sooner or later as you get through the main story line you will get the chance to romance her.you have done the hard part of getting her approval to 100%,so now its just a matter of time.hope this helps.have fun gaming. How to romance Leliana in Dragon Age Origins?
IF you are in a relationship with someone else she might not start the new dialog with you. IT could also be a glitch, happened to me on the 360 version, not sure which it could be for you.How to romance Leliana in Dragon Age Origins?
I believe you must progress further into the story. Giving scripted gifts like the Cute Nug can also initiate the sub-plot.
you need to complete her side quest once she opens up about her past and why she ran there will be a random encounter that you got to beat then it opens up her quest

How to make your tank attack first in dragon age origins.?
OK kind of a noob question but I've had dragon age for about a week now and i want my tank to attack first so he has aggro but i have no idea how to make that happen. And of course when i attack first all the enemies come at me and i end up dying with or without a healer. so how do i have him attack first without the fear of me dying? By the way I'm playing a rogue archer too.How to make your tank attack first in dragon age origins.?
I do get what you mean (I play a rogue as well) The simplest solution is, to have your Tank enter a room first. If a room is stuffed with enemies, make sure you take control of the tank (Which will probably be Alistair) and have him walk into the room first. He will set off all the aggro and everything will attack him first.
This becomes less of an issue once your tank has Taunt. Even if your rogue accidently sets off an ambush, all you need to do is use Taunt to attract everything towards the tank.
*As a rogue, it would be useful to invest in Combat Stealth. It basically functions as a 'Vanish' and any aggro you may have will be severely reduced. Most of the time, enemies will outright forget you the moment you stealth and attack someone else.bartending school ohio

Between Dragon Age Origins & Mass effect Which one Do you think is the better Game of the two?
For me it's Dragon Age because It's looks more medieval which I like and It's looks a lot more fun to play than mass effect and I know mass effect is a amazing game but I like Dragon age better because It's basically Dungeons %26amp; Dragons kind of Game mixes with the Lord of the Rings and you get Dragon Age .Between Dragon Age Origins %26amp; Mass effect Which one Do you think is the better Game of the two?
I much prefer Mass Effect. Dragon Age is a very good game but suffers from a shallow uninteresting storyline and even less interesting companion characters.Between Dragon Age Origins %26amp; Mass effect Which one Do you think is the better Game of the two?

Iam thinking about buying DGO: ultimate edition for 28pounds. I used to play alot of dragon age origins had all sorts of chars etc etc.So are the dlcs any good and worth the 28 pounds? Is dragon age origins ultimate edition worth it?
If you can sell your original for about 拢10 and get this version for 拢28 it will be only 拢18 for all dlc which is excellent value for money. But the DLC is only good if you are a fan, which I think you are, so you will enjoy them, but if you just like the content you will be disappointed because there is not a lot of it (apart from Awakening) but there is lots of storyline and character development which make it interesting to play.
If you played it a lot and had lots of chars and you got into the story then you will enjoy the DLC and it is definitely worth it.

Where are the Dragon Age 2 EA Download codes?
I downloaded Dragon Age 2 off of the EA Download Manager, and I need the promo codes so I can get some of the extra items, but I can't find where they are. I have a feeling that they were emailed and I accidently deleted them, but I'm not sure how to get those back, or if I'm even right. Help?Where are the Dragon Age 2 EA Download codes?
When you get to your house in Kirkwall you will have a special delivery crate, check there. I'm guessing they probably added them to your account already since you bought online.

I'm not sure if the game allows it (like Mass Effect 2 does) - but even if you can't, you could just start a new game and play it from there.
...Apparently that's the *only* thing you can do after beating the game (without starting a new game) - play the DLC. So yes.I have beaten dragon age origins and the expansion awakening can i still play the downloadable content includi?

Where is the special dead space 2 armor in dragon age 2?
I entered the code on the site like it said, and was notified I unlocked it. But I'm in the 3rd part of dragon age 2 and I still have not even found it.
Where is it located?
I was told in the mansion in my chest, but I looked and there was nothing in the stash, and I also checked all of the other chests as well. Still nothing.
Where do I find my armor at?Where is the special dead space 2 armor in dragon age 2?
There are 2 chests in each house one is your storage, the other is where premium content is stored until you take them out. The storage chest are hidden in other rooms for some reason such as the one in the house you are currently at is behind the door nearest to the main living room.
that or it's a glitch and bioware is working hard to fix it. silly bioware not testing it for glitches.

What system should I get Dragon Age on?
I am planning to get Dragon Age origins but haven't decided which system to get it on. Any ideas? I have the choose of either a to get it on the ps3 or the PC.What system should I get Dragon Age on?
All critics seem to agree that the PC version is better. The game was designed for PC and the console versions have a less user friendly interface and worse graphics. I also read that the PS3 version has framerate issues.
Go with PC, the interface screams PC. You can just click and drag with mouse or click on the spell you want for combat. You can use mouse to draw squares around the the people in your party and give them all different commands. Console would suck for this type of micromanagement. Plus I heard the console only offers over-the-shoulder view. PC offers that and top tier view when you zoom out. PC version is far the best, but will take a nice system to run. What system should I get Dragon Age on?

Can I still complete romance with Fenris in Dragon Age 2?
I'm playing Dragon Age 2 on PC with a female mage Hawke. I completed all of Fenris' quests in act 1, but he wasn't really strongly my rival or friend. I did the quest 'A Bitter Pill' and he came to my mansion right after and apologized, yet the option to sleep with him never became available. Can I still successfully complete romance with him or did I miss it?Can I still complete romance with Fenris in Dragon Age 2?
If you have been flirting the whole time and you never went after anyone else the romance should be active. Before you finish act 2 try pushing either his friendship or rivalry up to 50% or more. Then go back to your mansion at night. He should show up to meet you and you will get a second chance at the romance scene.

In Dragon Age 2 can you get all of the companions?
I was wondering in Dragon Age 2 can you get all of the companions?
Also I'm worried about losing any of them by saying the wrong thing what should I do about this?
Also why did they change the look of Isabella from Origins? In Dragon Age 2 can you get all of the companions?
With the latest patch you can potentially keep them all. You have to max them out on either friendship or rivalry depending on the choice you make at the end. For example you need to have Fenris maxed out either way if you support the mages, otherwise he will side against you. Remember that Rivalry isn't a bad thing, if it is at 100% your companions will stay loyal.
Isabela was a minor character in Origins and didn't have a very unique design. They wanted to make her more special and consistent with her back story for DA2. This is why they changed her. I actually don't mind, she looked kind of old and worn out in origins. In Dragon Age 2 can you get all of the companions?
You will end up losing 1 or 2 at the end. Other than that u cant from what I've experienced

Possible to play through Dragon Age: Origins with just one set of armour?
I have started my 3rd character on Dragon Age. I'm a male human noble warrior level 5 or 6 (i can't remember at the moment) and I'm at Ostagar right before the tower of Ishal. I have my original armour that I had since the beginning. I'm wondering if it's possible to play through the game with this same armour, only upgrading sword and shield and attributes. Any sort of info is appreciated.Possible to play through Dragon Age: Origins with just one set of armour?
Sure that works.
If you're not tanking like they said... Heck. Go spartan, bro. Sword, shield, boots, and helm!
@Vealrado-Love the Spartan input, Spartans were the beasts!
Theres nothing stoppping you, no, it just makes the game more difficult at times, as some of the armor and clothes can give pretty handy bonuses. To compensate for the lack of armor (if this is how you are choosing to play) you'll definately want to level your character as high as you can, and avoid some of the more difficult parts of the storyline until you are much higher level.
If you don't consider tanking with your character, then you probably don't need to upgrade your armor much. Some extra stats are nice but they don't really make a big difference.Possible to play through Dragon Age: Origins with just one set of armour?
i don't see why not, as long as you compensate by increasing your constitution and strength and have loads of health potions.sonic electronix flyff

How do I access Awakening for Dragon Age: Origins on the X-Box?
Alright, I feel like such a noob for asking this, but it is driving me insane. I have the Ultimate Edition for Dragon Age. I have downloaded everything off the second disc and beat Origins. I want to access Awakening and transport a character, but I can't find the awakening Campaign, nor anyway of accesing other campaigns in the first place! The second disc says it's only the downloader disc, so Awakening isn't on that one. Fellow players, help! How do I access Awakening for Dragon Age: Origins on the X-Box?
Don't worry, it's not a stupid question at all =)
All you have to do is start a new game (on the main disc). You can then choose whether you want to play Dragon Age: Origins or The Awakening. In this case, choose the Awakening.
You then have the choice to create a whole new character or to import a character from Origins. Import a character from Origins.
There is one bug I'd like to warn you about though. The Awakening WON'T import your Origin's DLC equipment. So if you have an Origins character wearing equipment from a DLC, it's equipment won't be transported.
There's been a patch released to fix this problem. Now,the imported character will get other, default equipment. Just so you know.
Have fun playing! It's a great game! How do I access Awakening for Dragon Age: Origins on the X-Box?
I would start the game and see under Downloadable content (if there is a place called that) and if not go to the Game Marketplace and look up the DLC you have. If you find it press play game and make sure the game is inHow do I access Awakening for Dragon Age: Origins on the X-Box?
You use the main disc. Then you start a new game, and a menu will pop up with all the addons. That's where you select Awakening.

Is all the DLC for Dragon Age II worth the money?
I'm playing through Dragon Age II and I'm near the end of the game. I have immensely enjoyed the game and am considering shelling out some money for some of the DLC (not the item packs, just expansions). Are the expansion DLCs worth the money? And if so, which ones are the best?Is all the DLC for Dragon Age II worth the money?
My god, did you actually enjoy DA2? It is a horrible game as compared to DA1. In fact, DA2 is so bad in my opinion I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy the game not to mention DLC packs. If I were you, I would invest a bit of money in DA1 and see how much better that game is. So no, don't shell out money on DA2 DLC content. Also the DLC content aren't all the great. My friend's son bought one and hated it.Is all the DLC for Dragon Age II worth the money?
The Black Emporium comes with some really great items, respec potions, a mirror that lets you redesign your character's appearance, and a dog. There is actually quite a bit of content for the dog, it feels as interactive as the one in Origins. The Exiled Prince adds a new companion and his personal quests. He fits in to the story very well and his dialogue with the Grand Cleric helps flesh out her character more. He also is a powerful archer and unlike Varric you can swap out his weapons.
I got both of these free with my preorder. But, if I hadn't I probably would have at least bought the Exiled Prince. I think he's worth the money. I have also heard that his character will be important in later installments of the game. The Black Emporium you could stand to wait on, the best part about it is the dog.
Also to play the DLC fully you will have to start a new game. It's not like Origins where you can go back after the end and finish up DLC quests.

Is Dragon Age kind of like Legend of the Dragoon from the ps1?
Legend of the dragoon is still one of my favorite games and now i am looking at the Dragon Age games.I know for a fact the combat system is totally different, but what i am interested in is if how they have you go through each area similar? Like in legend of the dragoon, all the areas were kind of linear but you could always go back to them. Or is it like oblivion where its just... wide open? Last is it as long as legend of the dragoon? Is Dragon Age kind of like Legend of the Dragoon from the ps1?
the first dragon age is a great game but is linear. i would say it is like legend of the dragoon (based on you description) with the roaming. and the game isn' very long, only about 8 hours where oblivion is more like a day at least.

Well, your not going to be able to crossover your characters from DA:O to DA2 if you have both games. So, I highly doubt you'll be able to do it over game systems themselves.
Everybody has to start off fresh in the game.
no i dont think so becuase the save file is being read from the system harddrive and why not just buy it for the xbox????:)

You will ABSOLUTELY FALL IN LOVE WITH DRAGON AGE ORIGINS!!! Obviously im biased, do what you want, but DA will have you hooked and the story is like you are watching an amazing movie but yet you control the decisions which of course, have consequences.
The game will leave you wanting more and more which is why they are continueing to add DLC and eventually a sequel. By the way, my favorite game of all time before this was Oblivion, just get it man,Is Dragon Age Origins for the Xbox 360 worth it?
Dude do yourself the favor of getting this game, it is the best RPG I have played in like forever. It's depth and scope is amazing and you can play it through like six times and not have the same story. DO IT!

fable 2Is which of these following games is dragon age origins for the 360 better than?
Dragon Age Origins is better then Mass Effect and Fable 2. I have played the demo for Mass Effect, and I didn't like it one bit... or maybe it was Deep Space? Anyway, I'm sure I would like RPGs more then a FPS game. It's way better then Fable 2, because it really sucked, it was okay at first, but then it sucked, and I couldn't play it a third time, it was too boring. It's no where near as free as Oblivion, so Oblivion wins, it's the best Western RPG out there, except for the Morrowind of course. Fallout 3 I've played 8 times so it's way better then Dragon Age Origins. Is which of these following games is dragon age origins for the 360 better than?
Well, to be honest, I enjoyed all of them. The only ones I can really view Dragon Age Origins better than would be Mass Effect and Fable 2. (Mass Effect 2 doesn't count!) Oblivion and Fallout 3 are in a sense, the same. Massive RPGs. Oblivion might be a bit higher than Fallout 3, but not by much. Dragon Age Origins fits right in there (possibly at the top, we'll see what the future holds)chocolate fondue recipe corner bakery menu

Is there any way to keep Bethany Hawke in your party for the whole campaign in Dragon Age 2?
I am on my third playthrough of Dragon Age 2 now. I am playing as a Rogue where on my previous 2 I was a mage. I was wondering if there is any way to keep your sister, Bethany, in your party/ team for the whole game. I want to know because I think she is a very good character and if Bioware left this option out then shame on them.Is there any way to keep Bethany Hawke in your party for the whole campaign in Dragon Age 2?
The loss of Bethany/Carver is a scripted event. The only control you have over it is whether they die, or if they become a Circle mage/Templar or a Grey Warden. Is there any way to keep Bethany Hawke in your party for the whole campaign in Dragon Age 2?
No, she's gone by act 2 no matter what you do. But, if she doesn't die in the deep roads she will fight with you in the final battle. In some ways it makes sense to the story that you lose your sibling, but I agree that it would have been great to keep them the whole game.

How do you redeem your Dragon Age 2 bonus content?
Hey everyone, I pre-ordered the regular edition of Dragon Age 2, went to Game stop.com/code to put it in, went to the website it said to register in, made an account and put the code in, and it says I should check my in-game wallet to look for the new sword and shield. Is the wallet my inventory? Because if it is, Its not there. The only things in my inventory are my starting equipment.
Thank you.How do you redeem your Dragon Age 2 bonus content?
The items won't be in your inventory directly. Instead, if the download worked properly, the items will be found in a chest or box inside your home in game. Another way to check if the download worked properly is if you have missions with the names of the items on them. How do you redeem your Dragon Age 2 bonus content?
they will be located in a chest at your home, if its early int he game it will be the uncles home, otherwise it will be your home.

What's the best first class for Dragon Age: Origins?
I ordered Dragon Age: Origins (xbox 360) online and it's coming in in a day or two, and i was wondering what the best first class would be. I'll most likely be an elf. If it makes any difference (not sure how close or different the combat systems are), when i played World of Warcraft, my mains were warrior and death knight. Also, reasons behind your answer are helpful. Thanks ^^What's the best first class for Dragon Age: Origins?
Typical Group :ur typical group in combat will contain one tank, one mage and 2 damage dealers. In the early stages of the game and on easier difficulties u can choose to have all of them in melee range if you wish. The downside is that u r grouping up ur characters, which can put them all at risk of area effect spells and abilities. This also means that ur characters need to run around in order to engage enemies at a distance.Any time you are not swinging ur weapon at an enemy and they are is time where u are losing.
Better Group :A tank, a mage and 2 ranged attackers are an improvement over the typical group. While ur tank runs in and engages the enemy, their role is not to deal damage but to absorb it,so there is no time lost.In the meantime, all ur ranged attackers can focus on and eliminate enemy targets with relative ease.A possible hiccup here is that enemies will start to run towards ur ranged attackers, meaning the tank will be running around a whole lot and u'll need to really manage ur team.Still, from a damage dealing perspective, this group is a very solid make-up.
Best Group :Obviously using the word best is subjective.Everyone will have their own opinion about this but in my experience, this is the easiest way to move through the game without continual reloading. As mentioned in the previous section, ranged combat is preferable to melee since u're dealing damage the entire time rather than running around. It also ensures that ur using the most powerful class in the game to their maximum potential. The best group is made up of a tank and 3 mages. I'm sure u're thinking, wow it's hard enough to manage a single mage, how can I handle 3? That's the beauty about it,u only really need to manage a single one.Put the other two on tactics that attack whomever you are targetting and let the computer cast away.I can guarantee that 3 mages casting Blizzard,Inferno and Tempest will destroy any group of enemies u encounter.Even more so if they all have access to Force Field to protect ur tank and each other. There are many ways to build your group and in the end it's up to u to decide which formation works best for u.
that was only a suggestion that u may want to try out ,if u need more help just email me.

EDITED: sorry forgot to mention this :
When u begin the game u choose which gender, race, and class u want to be.This ultimately leads to which Origin u will embark upon. All Origins lead to the same main story line, the beginning will be different from one origin to the others but once ur reached Lothering it'll be the same except for some alteration in the way that characters interact with u through out the game. ur base stats are also determined by the race and class u select.
hope that helps %26amp; enjoy the excellent game :)What's the best first class for Dragon Age: Origins?
There all bout the same. I started with rouge and liked it but warriors and rouge seem to be bout the same. Rouges can lockpick which is great throughout the game so id start with rouge seeing as you can lockpick and it will make game easier for first time. I have no regrets with elf mage.
Elf because they're cool and mage because you get some insane mage powers in the game. You'll have a party of four and some people play three mages and a 'tank' (warrior)

Dragon Age & Dragon Age II?
I Know I'm Late Can Anybody Fill Me In On Exactly What Toke Place In Dragon Age %26amp; How Long It Took To Complete; Along With The expansion packs? Please So I Know If It Worth Getting???
Dragon Age II looks as though it is worth getting from the combat and graphics but im really getting it because it looks like Lord Of the Ringswhich was awesome but tell me what u know about Dragon Age II as well Please?Dragon Age %26amp; Dragon Age II?
I know that the Qunaries are the "darkspawn" of DA II, and that the ones with horns are the REAL qunaries, and the ones without horns are the special ones.
Uhh... you can fully customize Hawke as you can in DAO.
Morrigan will be in DA II, and it's discussed that Alistair will be in too. Hmm... or was it Flemeth?
Dragon Age 2 will still use an approval system. However, instead of only getting content and combat bonuses based on positive approval, you can either build a friendly or antagonistic relationship with your companions Also, specific actions can still cause companions to turn on you, in spite of their approval rating.
All the races except for humans are going to be redesigned :)
Oh.. and the dialogue options will be like in ME2.Dragon Age %26amp; Dragon Age II?
First off, you might want to work on your grammar. You capitalize way more than necessary, and you have lots of run-on sentences.
Anyways, that being said, I suggest you read up on the plot of the game at Wikipedia.com or the Dragon Age Wiki.
You can learn a lot about the games (including the story) without playing them using those to sources of information. Good luck!bubble pop word translator

Dragon Age: Origins PS3 - How do you use the gems to upgrade weapons?
In dragon age: origins for the PS3, how do you use the gems to upgrade your weapons? I have a bunch of gems that it says can be combined with my sword, I see the slots on the sword, I just can鈥檛 combine them. Can anybody help me out?Dragon Age: Origins PS3 - How do you use the gems to upgrade weapons?
You have to talk to the blond dwarf in the party camp, the one who always shouts "Enchantment!" Not sure, but I think that might be clue. Anyways, talk to him, and tell him you want some enchanting done. From there follow the button commands at the bottom of the screen to insert the runes.
Edit: That's why I say runes.Dragon Age: Origins PS3 - How do you use the gems to upgrade weapons?
The other guy says its for upgrading weapons. THAT IS NOT TRUE. Runes are used to upgrade weapons, not gems (like ruby, saphire, etc.)
** SPOILERS ****
When you get the dwarf army you can deposit gems (in party camp mode) in the crate (kind of like how you can deposit runes for the mage army). They use it for payment. Otherwise, sell it for money for the first third/half of the game...

Do you have to play the Dragon age expansions for origins to understand 2?
I was looking to play the dragon age series and i was just wondering if you can just play the first game to understand the second or if you need all the expansions. is there references to any of the expansions in dragon age 2?Do you have to play the Dragon age expansions for origins to understand 2?
I assume youre talking about Dragon Age Origins -Awakening.
Nope. You dont have to. There is a major character in Awakenings who will play a bigger role in Dragon Age 2, but you dont have to play Awakenings.
In fact, some people skipped Dragon Age Origins and still got the picture in Dragon Age 2Do you have to play the Dragon age expansions for origins to understand 2?
The 2nd one makes allot of comments and things like that, that reference to Origins and Origins explains allot more about the blight and darkspawn and stuff than the 2nd one. The expansions don't really tell you about the game's story line unless u get the Coriphius Expansion. It tells you a little more about Hawke's past I suppose. Other than that though....i suggest that if you want to understand Dragon Age: 2 better than you should play Dragon Age: Origins and get the expansion for that one called Awakening to really feel Dragon Age lol XP i hope i kinda help....or perhaps I'm just confusing you........lolDo you have to play the Dragon age expansions for origins to understand 2?
You don't need any of the DLC or the Awakening expansion to understand DA2. All you get in the game if you have them is a little bit of extra content, but nothing major. The Awakening expansion does give you some more insight in to a party member named Anders and his backstory though.

How many demons are in dragon age origins or like which one is the hardest to beat?
like in dragon age origins there are alot of demons so which is the hardest to kill? How many demons are in dragon age origins or like which one is the hardest to beat?
The hardest would be the Arch-demon. He is the "Final Boss".How many demons are in dragon age origins or like which one is the hardest to beat?
There's a boss for every major quest and many of the side quests, sometimes more than one. The hardest is the Arch Demon at the end of the game, but only because they purposely make it time consuming to kill. It's not really hard. How many demons are in dragon age origins or like which one is the hardest to beat?
There a plenty, the arch demon being the hardest..but the other random demons go in this order of strength: Rage Demons, Sloth Demons, Desire Demons, and lastly the strongest of the common demons, Pride demons.
hope this helps!

The 8800GTS 512MB is the G92 version and not the crappy 1st gen 8800GTS version. It is what is recommended by bioware for med detail. It is slightly faster than the 9600GT so perhaps there is a better option for you.
A good price guide
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best鈥?/a>
Get a 9600GT as a minimum for $85 or a 9800GT for $95, but if you can afford it and have a 480-500W PSU or greater, get the Radeon 4870 512MB for $125 - it is the best bang for buck on mid level cards. Get the 4870 1GB for $145 if you have a monitor larger than 22".
The 4870 1GB performs better than the 260 GTX whoch costs about $20 more and almost on par with the GTX 275 which is about $75 more. At high resolution, the 4870 1GB shines and performs marginally better than the GXT 275 which is much more expensive.

The 4870 will also perform about twice as fast as the 9600GT/9800GT.
9500 GT has 128-bit GDDR2 RAM and is crap, so it can't play DA well
Get something with at least DDR3 RAM because DA has a high level of shader detail and a DDR2 card won't cut it.
COD4 will play decent on the 9500GT but it is 2 years old now.cheap flights duplicolor

Does a basic, new copy of Dragon Age: Origins come with Shale and the Blood Dragon armor?
My friend bought the collectors edition a while back and got these two pieces of content, but I looked online and it said that you just have to have a new copy to get these two. Can the new copy be basic?I just bought Dragon Age online (a new copy) I'd really like to have that armor for Mass Effect 2.Does a basic, new copy of Dragon Age: Origins come with Shale and the Blood Dragon armor?
It does come with both codes...i bought the regular edition from Walmart right after christmas and i got the code Shale on one side and on the other side was the code for the armor on Mass Effect 2..which i dont even play...if it turns out that it would cost extra to get this armor, message me and ill give you my code...because it is highly unlikely that i will ever choose to play that game...Does a basic, new copy of Dragon Age: Origins come with Shale and the Blood Dragon armor?
A new copy(doesn't matter which version) should come with the code for Shale (saving you 1200 Microsoft points, or at least it cost that much to buy that download by itself), however you will not likely get the Blood Dragon armor. The armor was a pre-order bonus and since most of the Collector's Editions of the game was supposed to be for pre-order only (the place your friend got it from might have had a few copies that didn't get pre-ordered or didn't get picked up for a pre-order), so it's not likely you'll be able to find the armor now. You could buy it separately on eBay or somewhere, but people on there usually charge outrageous prices for the codes.

What setting does Dragon age 2 run at for the PS3/XBOX360 compare to PC?
When I play the demo, it look good, but when I see the demo for PC on medium setting, it also look good. So is dragon age 2 for ps3 run on medium setting? If so then I am disappointed. Can anyone give me the link of any info telling me what setting dragon age 2 ps3 or xbox360 is run on. Thank you, best answer gets 10 pointsWhat setting does Dragon age 2 run at for the PS3/XBOX360 compare to PC?
On PC medium graphics are the maximum setting when running on DirectX 9 class hardware, which is what the PS3 and Xbox 360 are. High and very high settings are reserved for DirectX 10 and 11 cards and has features that aren't compatible with consoles. So the graphics on consoles are at best the same quality as the PC version on medium.
The only thing I can't specify is whether the console versions run at medium or something lower than that, but it's certain anything higher than that is impossible on that hardware because the consoles were developed before DirectX 10 was released.

Can you use Dragon Age patches on a pirated version?

Note: She said she didn't download or crack any of the DLC. Don't know if that helps or not.Can you use Dragon Age patches on a pirated version?

What are all the games that are very similar to Dragon Age: Origins?
Need a list of quite a number of games that are very similar to the game "Dragon Age: Origins"What are all the games that are very similar to Dragon Age: Origins?
Both Star wars: knights of the old republic games. Kotor 1 was made by Bioware, like Dragon age. Kotor 2 was made by Obsidian Entertainment(Suggested to Lucasarts by Bioware, because Bioware was busy making Jade Empire(Which is another game that plays similar to Dragon age, though I've found it to be rather short)). Although made by a different company, KOTOR 2 plays exactly like KOTOR 1(but due to a rush for release for the 2004 holiday season, A lot of content was cut from KOTOR 2, and it was very buggy when released(if you get it for xbox, make sure you get the most updated realease, if for PC, you can find an updated patch online)).
AJ has the best answer, but let me add to that that BioWare has a Sci-Fi series that play very like Dragon Age called Mass Effect.
Mass Effect follows Commander Shepard in covering the invasion of council space by a race of aliens. There is a central plot to follow and several side quests. You will join the Specters (think grey wardens with an unlimited special effects and weapons technology budget!), assemble a team and be given command of an elite experimental starship to pursue the main villain in the central plot and attempt to prevent the destruction of more colonies. There is an opportunity to change the outcome of your friends' fates through influence, romance or plot choices.
Mass Effect 2 picks up a few months after the conclusion of Mass Effect. Many of your companions from the first game either return or are seen briefly. If you import the previous saved game, your choices from the first game will affect the environment in the second game. Commander Shepard attains a legendary/Chuck Norris reputation (Shepard will get killed early on, and it only pisses him/her off), goes rogue with some shady funding and a new ship, reassembles a team and heads back out to try and find the source of the aliens again. Choices again to influence your friends, or romance them, or stay true to your romance from the first game. Plot choices heavily affect how your team survives the final battle, or if you do yourself, and will influence the final chapter in the series (Mass Effect 3).

What is a good graphics card and psu for Dragon Age Origins?
My psu is too weak to handle most of the modern graphics cards and I need both in order to run Dragon Age at better than lowest settings. I'm on a budget of around $150-$200.What is a good graphics card and psu for Dragon Age Origins?
for that price you could get an Nvidia GTS 250, it retails at about an average of 120-150$, thats more than enough to run that game at full blast with all settings on high. If you want something cheaper you could go for an Nvidia 8800GT( my card) and that works just fine with almost all recent PC titles dragon age included. As for a psu you should be fine with 500watt psu( also what i have) but if you can try to get a more powerful one. I think you should get the GTS 250, its a good card at an affordable price also it only requires 450watt psu at minimum.

How do I use Lyruim potions in Dragon Age: Origins?
Ok well, I have dragon age origins on xbox 360 and throughout my time playing it, I haven't been able to use any kind of potion via my inventory. Is there another way I'm ment to use these? I'm able to heal myself with the quick heal thing, but I just can't use potions in my inventory. I don't know how. Please help. How do I use Lyruim potions in Dragon Age: Origins?
Only Mages can use the lyrium. When you have Morrigan, you can help replenish her magic/mana in combat when she runs low (it is the blue column on her portrait.) You have to switch to her using your RB/LB buttons and then open the radial menu with LT and select the lyrium potion which she can then use.
Poisons, etc, can only be used by rouges in combat or to make traps (if they have the trap-making skill.) Health potions and injury ones can be used by any party member to fix their injuries or replenish their health. How do I use Lyruim potions in Dragon Age: Origins?

How should my Male Noble Warrior look in Dragon Age Origins?
I have ideas to for looks for my characters. One will look like the guy in most of the original trailers for Dragon Age Origins (from the Sacred Ashes trailer and other ones like ones at E3), and another character like that, but with a five o' clock shadow and black hair the looks like Loghain's. How can I beat the shade after the Elven ritual in Dragon Age: Origins?
I'm really stuck in Dragon Age Origins at the part where you have to beat the shades in the Lower Brecilian Ruins. My party is made up of my character (a warrior), Morrigan, Alistair, and the dog. My party can't kill even one of the monsters. Does anyone have any advice? How can I beat the shade after the Elven ritual in Dragon Age: Origins?
Your best bet is to group together on one of them at a time that way they die easily also if you have health potions use them do not worry about how many you use they can always be gathered again. Have morrigan use some more area spells to so she can hit more than one enemy like tempest or blizzard if you got them. Also if you are having major trouble try to lower the diffuculty or wait until you gain a few levels.burger island wheels and tires

There are ramps that go up behind her / it to either side. I believe you're better sheltered if you go up the one on the right.
As long as your characters stay there, they're relatively immune to her attacks, though you need to be ready for some darkspawn (?) to come once or twice.
From that sheltered location you can have a mage launch area of effect attacks (like blizzard or tempest), and/or you can have a mage or other characters periodicaly go down the ramp, launch a ranged attack at her or her tentacles, and run back up. You might try having a mage do a cone of cold, have one other character come and attack, then run them both back up the ramp as it thaws, for example.
Anyway, you mainly need to get your party hidden on the backside where they're relatively sheltered. And I'd then do manual control of one character at a time to do things as described with the others simply staying put and ready to battle darkspawn that show up from time to time. And hopefully you have at least *some* health items or abilities in tow at all times at that point in the game....

Well. the middle ages, which the story seems to be based on, lasted from the 5th century to the 15th century. The Iron Age didn't really begin until somewhere in the 12th century. Being that the armor and weapons are so intricate and well crafted, I would guess the storyline would be at least into the 13th.
OK. Assuming we're looking at 1200-1500 for an approximate era. I take a bit of an issue with the fact that there are many steel weapons. Steel weapons were extremely rare and often not that strong in that time. Not until the invention of the Bessemer process in the late 19th century did steel become the indestructible super material of our day.
So, I know its fiction, but if I had to make a guess, I would say somewhere in the late 1400s. Mainly because this was the late period of the middle ages where these kinds of mythic tales were most popular.
Sorry so long, just trying to be accurate :)

Ok i got a copy of dragon age origins from my parents for christmas but my computer had met all of the minimum requirements but didn't have the right graphics card, so now i would to take it to gamestop and turn it in to get the 360 version so how much do you think i will get? I also might turn in bully for wii and gta 4 for 360 so if you could tell my how much for all of those. How much credit would i get for a nearly brand new copy of dragon age: origins?
No, no, no ,no ,no , no....
Do us a favor and don't turn it in to Game Stop please. Your parents paid a good 60$ for that game and Game Stop will only give you maybe 20$. I dont know how you got Bully for Wii but you'll maybe get about 13$. GTAIV for the 360 they'll give you maybe 25$.
So in total you'll get bout 58$. As soon as you leave that Game Stop those assholes will put Dragon Age for 60, Bully for 30 and GTA for 40$. They will rip you off so bad so please sell it to a friend that wants it or eBay because there youll get your moneys worth.

Is the ps3 version of dragon age origins ultimate edition all on disc or download vouchers?
I want to get dragon age origins: ultimate edition on ps3. I know some games when re-released on ps3 they just put all the extra content on the disc since it's blu ray. So my question is do they do that for this re-release of dragon age or is it download vouchers like some other games do?Is the ps3 version of dragon age origins ultimate edition all on disc or download vouchers?
They are all on the disk. When you install them, you will have to go into the downloads portion of the game in the menus, but they are all on the disks, no need to go online.
BTW if this is the first time you are diving into dragon age... have fun... I had to play that game 2 times over again because it was just so good.

What race should I choose for a warrior in Dragon Age:Origins?
I finally got Dragon Age for my PC and I can't decide what "origin" I will like the most. Pretty much I want a badass warrior, that has a huge two handed sword killing everything in the front lines (w/o a shield I'll have to be able to take massive amounts of damage) But since I want to be a badass warrior, should I become an elf, human, or dwarf? What race should I choose for a warrior in Dragon Age:Origins?
Dwarf, because they are given more tanking stats to begin with like +1 strength, +1 dexterity, +2 constitution 10% chance to resist hostile magic. And the nobel get combat training right at the begining so it is definetly helpful.
I'd go with a human noble or a dwarf noble since they both get combat training as their starting skill. This will give you quicker access to your weapon abilities. Really though the differences are pretty minor in relation to your starting skills/stats, I'd recommend choosing the story line which interests you more. What race should I choose for a warrior in Dragon Age:Origins?
Try both races, human and dwarf. I am human noble for now, sword shield combo, looks nice with good armor. Not sure witht he dwarf have not tried it yet. Also check the Racial Bonus stats. Also dwarfs are more resistant to spells good for fighting spell bound creatures but Humans are more versatile so it is really up to you
Humans are versatile but Dwarfs seem like the tank of the group due to it's bonuses against magic spells. What race should I choose for a warrior in Dragon Age:Origins?

Is it just artwork or is it actually atainable in game... if it is. Where do you get it? Thanks. What is the armor on the cover of dragon age 2?
You get it late in the game, its called the champion armor or something like that. It has the word champion in it, and it shows up late act 2 early act 3.
I found most of it as boss drops and the rest in chests in boss areas. What is the armor on the cover of dragon age 2?
It is the Champions Armor for warriors. You have it in the very first scene and will eventually get it once more near the end of the game - found as loot from boss type enemies (mostly in companion quests if I'm not mistaken) and some chests. Note that the mage and thief version look differently. What is the armor on the cover of dragon age 2?

What is the best character for dragon age?
I am thinking of getting dragon age because I really like those RPG games where you have choices that will effect what happens in the game. I was just wondering what you thought the best character was or class or w.e.What is the best character for dragon age?
for me it wasnt about best character or class amoungst the 3 but more about the best specilization combo for all 3 class'.
For mages I enjoyed the arcane warrior/blood mage combo.
For 2h warriors Berkserker/Reaver seems like a nice combo. It really maximizes your damage, especially if your character tends to lose health.
for a 1h/shield warrior I enjoyed berserker/templar combo giving my character an advantage toward both casters and physical targets.
For rogues I mostly liked Dw combos and for that assassin/duelist is the best imo.
I generally left the specializations that gave buffs to companions. There are even more specialization types in the Awakening expansion and it allows you to have up to 3 which was nice. What is the best character for dragon age?
I think that if you buy it, you will find that you will not play it through just one time. Once you finish, you will want to play it again and go back and do all the other story lines that you didn't get a chance to do.
For me, I really liked the Warrior class. But that is just my personal preference. I always like the hack and slash and/or Tank roles. It's a great game. Enjoy.
Good luck. What is the best character for dragon age?
Arcane Warrior/Blood Mage are considered overpowered and the best specialization combo in the game tl;dr, make a mage

What happens if you die in Dragon Age Origins?
I know you get to import your character from Dragon Age Origins into Awakening, bur what happens if he/she dies? Will he be brought back by one of the other characters or will he/she just be alive again? What happens if you die in Dragon Age Origins?
The expansion just pretends that your character never died. All of your other decisions will import, but nobody will explain how you miraculously survived.argus alpinestars

What is the best armor for an elf in dragon age origins?
I have been playing dragon age origins for a little while now and im hooked! My first character is a male dalish elf. What is the best armor for this type of charater and what weapons would be best for him? If you can attach any runes to the weapons, which ones do you suggest to apply to the weapons?
If you can also help give the location of everything, that would be awesome as well :)What is the best armor for an elf in dragon age origins?
The best armours in the game are bought at Wade's emporium in Denerim.
Depending on wether you're a rogue or a warrior, different armours are better.
The best armours for warriors are:
1 Evon the great's mail, which has a 10% dodge, and a lot of stat boosts. (only chest piece, and found in Wade's emporium, but only sold after completing one or two of the main quests)
2 Juggernaut, found in the brecillian forest (you have to do a elven ritual and find all the tombstones)
3 Wade's superior armours, after getting six drake scales and a dragon scale, you can make these armors. BE CAREFUL, as you must pay extra for all of them (they are free normally) or you won't get the superior ones. The heavy armor set will give the item set bonus for Evon the great's mail.
4 Effort - a very difficuklt piece search all around the draven places and get dog to look for the helmet in the deep roads.
The best for Rogue is either:
1 the felons coat, in the store as well and only sold after 1 or two of the main quests. this in my opinion is the best.
2 shadow of the empire, is found in orzammar
these items dont give item set bonuses, but there is a lot of other very good rogue gear, and a lot of them can be found in the party camp.
The best weapons
are the keening blade, the best longsword, found in the unbound quest in denerim, the rose's thorn is the best dagger, found in orzammar, far song is the best bow, but you can only get it if the blacksmith in redcliff dies (he is replaced by another guy)What is the best armor for an elf in dragon age origins?
If you have the blood dragon armor DLC it's one of the best sets in the game. Otherwise the Juggernaut armor is my favorite because it makes you very spell resistant. This armor is found at the grave sites in the Brecilian forest, you have to fight a demon at each site to get each piece. But, the last piece is in the ruins you visit during the quest to find Witherfang. You have to complete a ritual and fight some ghosts. There are walkthroughs online you can look up.
As for weapons sword and shield or dual wield are better than two handed. The best sword is starfang if you have the Warden's Keep DLC. Otherwise Topsider's Honor which is in the Deep Roads. What is the best armor for an elf in dragon age origins?
If you have Dragon armor that would be best or if you have King Kallins (idk how 2 spell it) armor you could wear that and any type of race could wear them.

How can I authorize a Dragon Age DLC for two accounts of mine?
The account that downloaded The Stone Prisoner was my sister's, but I made a new account to be logged in while playing Dragon Age. With that, I bought The Darkspawn Chronicles but I can't access my person because The Stone Prisoner is active while playing that warden. It says that it's unauthorized. How can I authorize both DLCs for both accounts? How can I authorize a Dragon Age DLC for two accounts of mine?
You cannot change the ownership of DLC. Period. Once a gamertag buys it, it cannot be given to another gamertag.
That being said, DLC is licensed to both the gamertag that bought/redeemed it AND the console used to originally download it. If that console has changed (say, you sent one in to MS for repair), then you'll have to transfer the DLC licenses to your new console.
When you send a 360 in for repair, MS automatically does the behind the scenes work for you (usually you have to go to http://www.xbox.com/en-us/support/system鈥?/a> The final step, however, is going to the Download History for both accounts and redownloading the DLC. Since the content is already on the HDD (unless you've deleted it), it shouldn't take more than a few seconds for each item of DLC you've purchased.
This will reauthorize the DLC for every profile on that console again.

Between the Xbox 360 and PC versions of Dragon Age, what are the differences? For Dragon Age origins, what are the differences between the Xbox 360 and PC versions?
On a high-end PC, the graphics might look a bit better. Other than that, the pair of three swappable shortcuts in the bottom right corner of the console version is replaced with a standard hot bar, where powers, stances, and skills can be slotted just as they are in countless MMO titles. The select button menu is nowhere to be seen, with the PC version instead featuring a row of buttons at the top of the screen, allowing quick access to inventory, your journal, character stats, and the like. The PC version of Dragon Age allows players to scroll backwards into an overhead, Baldur's Gate-like camera, presenting a much more tactical view of the map you are on. It also allows a more tactical approach to battles, so the difficulty is bumped up a notch for the PC.
And finally, the PC version allows you to use tons of great mods. For Dragon Age origins, what are the differences between the Xbox 360 and PC versions?
the games are almost identical being it follows the same story line but the way you can pause the game and look around is changed because in the xbox 360 version you get a wheel giving you options and you cannot really look around to focus on where to direct your focus onto but in the computer version you can actually zoom out and look at the state your party is in and such. You also cannot have as many abilities set so that they can be easily used in the xbox version where as you have a full bar to place all of your best abilities on due to the lack of buttons on the xbox 360.

How long is Dragon Age Origins with all the DLC?
I am looking for a game to play through out the summer, and I am looking at dragon age origins ultimate edition. My question is: If I play through the main story (and maybe some side quests) and do all of the DLC, how long will I have played? Or how long will it take me to do everything. How long is Dragon Age Origins with all the DLC?
As the others have said, if you try to do as many quests as you can, it should be around 70 hours. I've played several times and I really tried to milk my final playthrough for all it was possibly worth, and it was about 72.
It's one of the longest games out there, and I would definitely recommend it. Keep in mind that the replayability factor in Origins is extremely high. Your character can have one of six very different "origins" which will effect the game in different ways throughout, so you'll probably want to replay the game more than once (or at least play through all of the origins). How long is Dragon Age Origins with all the DLC?
From the main story and side quests you'll get around 60-70 hours.
For the Awakening DLC you should get between 15-25 hours depending on how quest happy you are.
Witch Hunt will get you another hour or so, but it's more of an epilogue than actual game extender.
Leliana's Song will also come in at around an hour to 2 hours
Golems of Amgarrak is rather short at 1-2 hours.
Same goes for The Darkspawn Chronicles, perhaps a bit less.
This is just an estimation based on playing the 'Normal' difficulty setting. Harder difficulties will take you much longer.
However if you do get the game I suggest you make a point of doing all the side quests you can get. If you don't you're just cutting yourself out of some good gaming. How long is Dragon Age Origins with all the DLC?
I haven't played all the DLC only Awakening. Awakening is about 15 hours and the core game itself is like 30 hours. And then all the other DLC might add 5-10 hours I wouldn't know I haven't played them.
But if your looking for another game to play over the summer Oblivion would be a good choice. And to save you some money buy the Ultimate Edition USED and then take the DLC from disk two. Return the Ultimate Edition and get the Regular $20 disk so you'll have all of it for only 20 bucks. Oblivion is about 60+ hours and it's a game you play through more than once.
I've played through all DLC (Darkspawn Chronicles, Leliana's Song, Awakening, Golems of Amgarrak %26amp; Witch Hunt), and the duration it took me to finish all of them was about 70 hours with the main story. However, it was my second time playing, so it did take me a little faster. Add an hour or two or a couple to it. It takes a while to get into if RPGs are not your element, but it's well worth the 70+ hours.seattle prentice hall textbooks

It takes a while to get into if RPGs are not your element, but it's well worth the 70+ hours.
What are the outcomes for choosing the Kings in Orzammar: Dragon Age Origins?
For those who have played Dragon Age Origins, I know this question has been asked a thousand times, but I need help getting facts right. I've been asking around and I can't decide which person would be better for King, Bhelen or Harrowmont. I know it depends on what I want, but I don't understand the effects of each. Could someone explain the outcomes of each selection for king and maybe what each of their quests are, please? It might help. Thanks in advance! What are the outcomes for choosing the Kings in Orzammar: Dragon Age Origins?
It really has no affect on the game which is made king. If you play as a dwarf you find out how bad of a person Bhelen truly is but if you make him King you find out that he was a fairly good ruler in the epilogue and with Horrowmont hes a decent person but in the epilogue not necessarily a better ruler. I've played numerous times and have had both of them as king and other than a change in the epilogue there really isn't any change to the game so do which ever one you find easiest or the one you haven't done yet. What are the outcomes for choosing the Kings in Orzammar: Dragon Age Origins?
Spoilers:

If you choose to support Harrowmont, later you will discover in the epilogue that his reign was troubled, and that he eventually fell ill - likely from poison - and died.

If Bhelen becomes king, he rules as a reformist and works to strengthen Orzammar's connection with the surface world. He also offers casteless greater rights and privileges in exchange for military service against the darkspawn. This policy allows Orzammar to reclaim lost territory, but angers the warrior and noble castes. After several attempts on his life, Bhelen dissolves the Assembly and rules alone. Opinion is divided as to whether he should be remembered as a tyrant or a progressive ruler. What are the outcomes for choosing the Kings in Orzammar: Dragon Age Origins?

What class should I be in Dragon Age II: Rogue or Warrior?
I've already played as a mage, and want to try out a different class in Dragon Age II. I've heard good things about the rogue, and I want a class that can do a lot of damage to an enemy. Which class should I pick? What class should I be in Dragon Age II: Rogue or Warrior?
Rogue
I was totally surprised on how much damage I dealt with mine.
Warrior you would think would be the main damage dealer but I used mine as a Tank and just got Hp and More Hp and My sis and Anders were my damage dealers
Soo Gooo Rogue...Really funWhat class should I be in Dragon Age II: Rogue or Warrior?
The class I have had the most fun with so far is the archer rogue. I followed this guide: http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/鈥?/a>
It's a lot of fun to pick off enemies while running around stealthed and throwing bombs about. I also didn't have a problem beating the Arishok solo with this build. The decoy ability almost makes it too easy.
